Head Student Team & Student Leadership
Our Sixth Form are role models for the rest of the school. They provide visible leadership to the lower years and help spearhead new initiatives in school.
The Head Student leads a team of four other students who all have their own areas of responsibility including Interact and charity initiatives, worship, mentoring, prom and yearbook, plus any other areas they wish to take a lead on. Each member of the Head Girl Team takes responsibility for a different year group within lower school and leads student council meetings with Form Captains in that year group.
Beyond the Head Student Team we have a Sixth Form Senate. This is made up of Form Captains and Deputy Form Captains of all eight Sixth Form Tutor Groups. This group of students meet once a month with the Assistant Headteacher ( 16-19 Provision) to discuss ways to improve life within the Sixth Form and also helps to set agenda for the lower school student council.
As well as providing excellent leadership experience for our students this also helps improve the quality of provision within school and places our Sixth Form firmly at the forefront of our school community.
Take a look at the messages below from our current Head Student Team:

My name is Evie and I am honoured to serve as Head Student at Archbishop Blanch. My journey here has been incredibly memorable, shaped by the incomparable care, encouragement, and support of my teachers and the close-knit community that makes this school so special. That’s the beauty of this school. It’s not just a place where you learn subjects – it’s a place where you learn about yourself, where you grow in confidence, discover your passions, and gain the skills necessary for the next chapter of your life. As I prepare to leave Archbishop Blanch, I do so with immense gratitude and pride, this school has shaped me into who I am, I will carry the lessons I have learned, the values and memories I have gained here into the future with me.
Worship Lead
Worship is at the heart of our school community, uniting us to celebrate our shared values. As part of the Sixth Form leadership team, my role involves engaging with younger year groups to promote unity through faith, strengthening relationships across year groups, and fostering a deeper sense of belonging throughout the school.
Charity Lead
The sixth form plays a key role in organising charitable initiatives that reflect the school’s core values. By leading fundraising events, we foster a culture of giving and gratitude, encouraging students to support those in need. Teamwork and collaboration build trust, creating an inclusive where all feel valued. Charitable work also teaches the importance of kindness, forgiveness, and understanding, promoting unity and selflessness both within the school and the wider community.
