About Us

Archbishop Blanch is an 11-18 Church of England High School for girls based in Liverpool. Archbishop Blanch is a happy school serving a diverse range of students from all backgrounds. The students are keen to learn, are respectful and develop into well rounded individuals. They are supported by creative teaching using the latest technologies to enhance their learning, alongside a strong pastoral support system. It is a pleasure to watch the students mature into confident young ladies who will become citizens of the future. We are extremely proud of our pupil performance, with there being a positive upward trajectory in results over the last four years. Attainment at Archbishop Blanch is exemplary, demonstrated in the school achieving some of the best results in the city.

Staff combine high expectations with unstinting support & individual care, which for the most vulnerable students, is transformational. Our Christian ethos permeates through everything the school does.

Archbishop Blanch School has positive relationships and a proven track record of working with local universities and are passionate about developing future outstanding teachers. We believe that the School Direct programmes offers a fantastic opportunity for trainees to learn and develop in our diverse partnership of schools. By training in our partnership, trainees will experience a wide range of development opportunities, therefore making them highly marketable for future employment.

 A CARING CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENT

"Our two daughters have had the best start in life thanks to the caring, enthusiastic and hardworking staff of Archbishop Blanch School. Choosing the right secondary school for one's children is such a difficult task, but we could feel the special ethos of ABS on our first visit. You inspire your pupils to achieve the academic heights of which they are capable in a happy, safe and vibrant environment."
Archbishop Blanch Parent.
