FORM TIME, ASSEMBLIES AND COLLECTIVE WORSHIP

At Archbishop Blanch school pupils have a collective worship/assembly once per week and form time on the other days.

As part of our collective worship timetable, pupils are encouraged to develop their understanding of events, issues and topics in the safe and nurturing Christian environment that Archbishop Blanch School provides.

Our collective worship is led by not only by our school staff and visiting speakers, but also the pupils themselves. This allows our pupils to further develop strong Christian values and a greater community and faith ethos. All pupils regardless of faith or beliefs are expected to show reverence and respect during times of collective worship.

When not participating in assemblies or collective worship, our pupils are encouraged to engage in a range of activities during their form time. These activities include allowing pupils time to improve their literacy and numeracy skills
