Writer in Residence Scheme at ABS
To celebrate the opening of our new school a number of creative initiatives are taking place over the course of the year, in recognition of your diverse talents and strengths.
One of these is an exciting new scheme to help nurture and celebrate your creativity through writing.
Our Writer in Residence this year is Ms Robson, who has taken time off from English teaching to write a novel, and hopes to write alongside you budding authors to share her ideas for firing up the imagination and transforming ideas into words on the page.
Ms Robson has run writing clubs at ABS before and has always been amazed at her pupils’ ability to step into others’ shoes, to see the world through different eyes. Writing unlocks creativity in so many ways but it also helps us to explore who we are, why we and others do what we do, so by taking part in our writing activities you will explore life outside of the classroom and share your unique view of the world in a place where your voice is valued and heard.

"Our two daughters have had the best start in life thanks to the caring, enthusiastic and hardworking staff of Archbishop Blanch School.
