Year 11 enjoyed their leaving service in the school theatre, which was given with blessing by Rev Mike Griffin our school chaplain. Rev Griffin has been the girl’s chaplain throughout their time in school. He wished them success and happiness and reminded them of how much they have been an example of our school values of Community, Compassion, Forgiveness, Friendship, Thanksgiving and Trust.
During the service music was perfomed by some of our year 11 girls: Isobel Balmforth, Emily Costello, Bethany Gedge, Elise Edwards, Orlaith Carson, Emily Guilfoyle, Sian Davies and Lily kehoe for the last time, it was very moving and touching. Every girl was presented with a yellow rose for friendship by the Head.
All of the staff at Archbishop Blanch School would like to wish the girls every success and happiness for the future.
