The Sound of Music

Following our Educate Award win for ‘Outstanding Arts in a Secondary School’ last year for our production of Beauty & the Beast Jr, ABS Performance is back this summer performing Rodger’s & Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music!

Around 100 of our students are involved in the show either as a performer or a technician and some have even tackled the challenges of being assistant director, choreographer, musical director or costume designer amongst other roles. This has made the production a huge team effort whilst giving our students the opportunity to really broaden and deepen their understanding of the performing arts industry.

There are four performances which will be split between two casts (Doe/Deer);

Wednesday 11th July - 6pm

Thursday 12th July - 6pm

Saturday 14th July – 2pm

Saturday 14th July – 6:30pm

The performance runs for approximately 2hrs 40mins with a short interval and is suitable for the whole family.

Please come and support the students and staff of ABS Performance!

A Caring Christian Environment

"Our two daughters have had the best start in life thanks to the caring, enthusiastic and hardworking staff of Archbishop Blanch School. Choosing the right secondary school for one's children is such a difficult task, but we could feel the special ethos of ABS on our first visit. You inspire your pupils to achieve the academic heights of which they are capable in a happy, safe and vibrant environment."
