Brexit: In or Out?
Students have been learning about the issues surrounding the EU Referendum as they prepare to cast their own ballot in ABS's own referendum on the subject. KS3 geography lessons have been learning about the history of the EU, and in form time & PSHCE all year groups have been debating the issues on both sides of the campaign, as well as learning how to spot bias in media reporting.
Students also have been discussing why it's important to vote and learning about the differences between an election and a referendum. Our student council will be responsible for counting our vote, and we look forward to announcing our own school result on Friday, 24 June!
RESULTS ARE IN: The students of Archbishop Blanch have voted to remain in the European Union, with 82.6% of the vote.
