Grace Davidson from year 9 has come second in the judging of the District Lions Peace Poster competition. It was a very close contest, and Grace came a very close second. Grace had to symbolise what ‘Kindness Matters’ means to her in poster format. Her entry was vibrant, expressive and visually explained her understanding of the theme. Grace’s work along with the rest of year 9 was initially judged by Joan Elliot, our Lions International link and Tim Quinn of Marvel Comics fame.
Her poster will be on display at the District Lions Convention in March and she will receive her art work framed ready for display in school.
