Evening to Celebrate Achievement
Wednesday, 11th November saw us celebrate the achievements of all our pupils in the magnificent setting of the Anglican Cathedral. Whether is was group or individual success in various sporting endeavors, excellence in the fields of drama, dance and music, or academic achievement at both Advanced and GCSE level, it was an evening which highlighted the hard work and ethos of our students at Archbishop Blanch.
We were particularly fortunate to welcome Luciana Berger, MP for Wavertree, as our guest speaker. In addition to Ms. Berger's address and the awarding of prizes, the highlights of the evening included a showcase of our talented orchestra, choirs and dancers, entertaining the audience with pieces ranging from Les Miserables to the classical Flower Duet.
It was an evening to inspire and remind us how much we have to be proud about.
"Our two daughters have had the best start in life thanks to the caring, enthusiastic and hardworking staff of Archbishop Blanch School. Choosing the right secondary school for one's children is such a difficult task, but we could feel the special ethos of ABS on our first visit. You inspire your pupils to achieve the academic heights of which they are capable in a happy, safe and vibrant environment."
