Educate Awards 2017

Friday 17th November saw the return of the Annual Educate Awards ceremony at the Anglican Cathedral where schools from across the city and invited guests gather to celebrate the achievements of both primary and secondary schools. This year we were shortlisted in 2 categories : Outstanding Arts in a Secondary School and Inspirational 16-18 Education Provider. We were also delighted and honoured to be asked to perform "Beauty & the Beast Jr" on the evening.

The evening was a huge success in a fabulous venue and our students gave an absolutely phenomenal performance. To say we were proud would be a huge understatement - proud beyond belief would be more accurate! The comments from all who had the pleasure of watching them perform was truly amazing.

We are delighted to say that we won the category "Outstanding Arts in a Secondary School" and this is entirely due to the hardwork and dedication of the Performing Arts Staff, Miss Melluish and Mrs Oztuna and to all the students who have worked so hard and participated over the year. Huge congratulations to them all.

A Caring Christian Environment

"Our two daughters have had the best start in life thanks to the caring, enthusiastic and hardworking staff of Archbishop Blanch School. Choosing the right secondary school for one's children is such a difficult task, but we could feel the special ethos of ABS on our first visit. You inspire your pupils to achieve the academic heights of which they are capable in a happy, safe and vibrant environment."
