On Friday 19th November after what seems a very long wait we finally returned to celebrate the annual Educate Awards at Liverpool Cathedral. As always the venue looked amazing, it was such a lovely opportunity to meet up again with colleagues from all over the region to celebrate the wonderful achievements of schools in what has been very challenging times in education for all.
We had the privilege for Archbishop Blanch School Choir to perform at the event they performed beautifully 2 pieces "Somebody to Love" and "Say a Little Prayer" both were amazing and wowed each and every person there, to say they made us proud would be an understatement.
This year we were nominated in 2 categories "Careers & Enterprise Award" which are delighted to have come runner up in this category and "Most Inspirational Secondary School" and we are absolutely thrilled to say we won! Just to be nominated is an honour but to win such an accolade is truly special and is dedicated to every student, staff member, parent & governor of our wonderful Archbishop Blanch community.
"Our two daughters have had the best start in life thanks to the caring, enthusiastic and hardworking staff of Archbishop Blanch School. Choosing the right secondary school for one's children is such a difficult task, but we could feel the special ethos of ABS on our first visit. You inspire your pupils to achieve the academic heights of which they are capable in a happy, safe and vibrant environment."
