When we arrived for the ‘Dangerous Science’ residential at Liverpool University we were all given the subjects we would be undertaking for the 3 sessions. I did chemistry, which was about nano-particles and how to make gold nano-particles, physics, where we looked at radioactivity and computer science, which involved investigating artificial intelligence. Whilst there we stayed at one of the Universitys halls of residence to gives us a taste of Univeristy life. The final day consisted of student finance and a Q&A session with students who currently study at Liverpool Univeristy, so we could find out information. It was a fantastic experience both for the educational aspect and seeing what university life would be like.
