A Level Results Day

Archbishop Blanch School celebrated outstanding results for sixth form with a record breaking 45% receiving the highest possible grades A*-B at A Level and Distinction*- Distinction in BTECs.

Across all Level 3 examinations this year, students secured an excellent 99% pass rate with a significant increase in students achieving the highest possible A*-B grades at 39% and an impressive 68% achieving A*-C grades.

Our students have outperformed expectation in the second year of the new BTEC qualification with an exceptional 67% of all grades being awarded at the highest level of Distinction*/Distinction.

25% of Year 13 students have secured places at University and many of these places are at leading Russell Group institutions, and other students are embarking on Higher Level Apprenticeships or full-time employment.

Mrs Madeloso said "I am delighted with the achievements of our Year 13 students. Their success is testament to the hard work and dedication they demonstrated throughout the academic year. The skill and guidance of the excellent teachers at Archbishop Blanch, combined with support from parents cannot be underestimated in helping the students to reach their potential.

The excellent results have really helped our students to move on to the best possible destinations and we wish them all success and happiness in their next steps."
