This week sees the launch of our Foodbank Appeal in partnership with Micah Liverpool which has been set up to support the needy in our city by Diocese and Archdiocese of Liverpool. Our city mayor, Joe Anderson, has this week highlighted the desperate situation that many families are facing in the run up to Christmas this year and as a caring, Christian, school community we want to do our bit to try to alleviate the strain on hard-pressed families.
From Monday 26th November we will be collecting donations and would be particularly grateful for the following:
Our aim is to have every student and member of staff bring in at least one item every week for the next four weeks in the lead up to Christmas. With over 1000 people passing through our doors every day we could make a real difference.
As always your support is greatly appreciated.
"Our two daughters have had the best start in life thanks to the caring, enthusiastic and hardworking staff of Archbishop Blanch School. Choosing the right secondary school for one's children is such a difficult task, but we could feel the special ethos of ABS on our first visit. You inspire your pupils to achieve the academic heights of which they are capable in a happy, safe and vibrant environment."
