Winter Uniform
Compulsory Items
- Navy Blue 'inverted' pleat skirt - regulation school style only, to be worn at a length deemed appropriate by the school.
- Light Blue regulation, long sleeved blouse.
- Navy pullover with Light blue stripe.
- Navy Blazer - wool/polyester with school badge.
- N.B. NO OTHER SHORT JACKET IS ACCEPTABLE WEAR FOR SCHOOL.
- School Tie.
- School Badge.
- Purse Belt.
- Socks - Knee length navy blue socks.
- Tights - Black.
- Shoes - Sensible plain black shoes with low or medium heel(no higher than 5cm).
- NO TRAINERS, BOOTS, SANDALS, BACKLESS, TOELESS, OR CANVAS SHOES ARE ALLOWED.
Please note the school reserves the right to judge the suitablitiy of footwear and may ask parents to replace unsuitable shoes.
- OPTIONAL - BUT OBTAINABLE FROM THE ABOVE STOCKISTS ONLY:
- School Scarf.
- Plain dark navy or black ¾ or full length approved outdoor coat/waterproof jacket. No leather, denim type or simulation leather jackets - strictly no decoration/logo on the coat.
Uniform for Physical Education
- Light blue polo shirt - (optional extra - embroided with school name and personal intials).
- PE Skirt - Navy Blue skirt/short combination (available from Laser schoolwear).
- Hockey Shocks - Navy Blue with trim.
- Athletic briefs/shorts - Navy with white strip (for gymnastics, dance and athletics).
- Training shoes.
- Jogging bottoms - Plain navy blue (optional).
Summer Uniform
- Light Blue Short-sleeved Blouse - This blouse is the same colour as the winter blouse but has an open neck and short sleeves. It is worn without a tie. This summer blouse will be worn with the navy blue regulation skirt and no other.
- No other top may be worn beneath the blouse.
- Navy blue blazer and badge is compulsory for all girls throughout the school year.
- N.B. NO OTHER SHORT JACKET IS ACCEPTABLE WEAR FOR SCHOOL.
- Navy pullover with light blue stripe.
- Socks - White plain socks only.
- Shoes - Black only - NO SANDALS, TRAINERS, BOOTS, OR BACKLESS/TOELESS SHOES ALLOWED.
N.B.
- Summer uniform may be worn by years 8-11 in the Autumn Term until Speech Night, when winter uniform is compulsory. All first year pupils wear winter uniform on entry to the school in September.
- If winter uniform is worn throughout the summer, it must conform to winter uniform rules in all respects.
- If the winter blouse is worn in summer the sleeves must not be rolled up and the tie must be worn.
- Every girl must always possess a long sleeved winter blouse and tie.
- Outdoor wear: Girls of the Muslim faith may wear plain navy blue or black headscarves if they so wish during the journey to and from school.
Indoor wear: Girls of the Muslim faith may wear plain headscarves provided that during practical lessons no safety rules are infringed. - Hair: Long loose hair is not practical. All hair below shoulder length must be tied back and each girl is expected to adopt a style which is neat and suitable and of a natural colour.
